Since last Monday the 16th, the European Mobility Week has been celebrated in Cartagena by the Department of Safety and Public Road with activities and initiatives that aim to encourage citizens to choose active transport methods.
Regarding accessibility, two activities were held in the Road Education Park on Tuesday afternoon in collaboration with ONCE, Local Police and the School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (ESPAC).
Under the title 'Mobility with white cane' and 'Accessible Road Safety, facing the challenges of a blind person', they pursued the awareness of both pedestrians and blind people, working real cases with the risks and dangers that people with poor vision of Time to walk down the street.
For this, the participants wore totally opaque glasses that prevented their vision, as well as walking sticks.
