The Department of Education of the City of Cartagena will subsidize with 19,000 euros to 39 schools and institutes of the municipality in the present year 2019. The objective of these grants is to help the teaching teams of the educational centers in the development of innovative projects , ethical and teamwork.
The works that will benefit from these grants are related to the stimulation of oral language, prevention of overweight and obesity, organic crops or new technologies.
In addition, the funds of the Department of Education will serve to organize a mathematical olympiad, other computer science, a chess championship or emotional intelligence courses, among other initiatives.
The educational centers that will benefit from the Education grants are: CEIP Luis Vives, CEIP Gabriela Mistral, CEE Primitiva López, CEIP La Concepción, CEIP San Isidoro, CEIP Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores, CEIP San Félix, Colegio San Vicente Paul, CEIP Virgin of Begoña, CEIP San Cristóbal, CEIP La Asomada, CEIP Atalaya, CEIP Mare Nostrum, CEIP Miguel de Cervantes, CEIP Virginia Pérez, CEIp Poet Antonio Oliver, CEIP Santiago Apóstol, CEIP Aníbal, CEIP Virgen del Carmen, CEIP Puig Campillo, CEIP Cuatro Santos, EEIB Hazim, CEIP Feliciano Sánchez Saura, CEIP San Ginés de la Jara, CEIP Santa Florentina, CEIP Stella Maris, CEIP José María de Lapuerta, CEIP Azorín, CEIP Vicente Medina, CIFP Carlos III.
The Professional Conservatory of Music and the CIFP Hesperides.
The IES San Isidoro, IES Isaac Peral, IES Santa Lucía, IES Carthago Espartaria, IES Polytechnic, IES Jiménez de la Espada and IES El Bohío will also receive educational aid.
