An innovative ADLE program will help 30 Cartagena companies succeed (11/09/2019)

The Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena ADLE launches the Entrepreneurial Generation Entrepreneurship Growth program with which it intends to help 30 Cartagena companies succeed.

Specifically, the program is open to ten businesses, ten hospitality businesses and another ten companies from other ADLE programs.

The program was presented on the morning of September 11 in the Kitchen Classroom of the La Milagrosa Building and was attended by the president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz, the second deputy mayor, Manuel Padín, the delegated councilor of Tourism and Business of the City Council of Cartagena, Cristina Pérez and the ADLE manager, Fulgencio Cerón.

Also, the councilors of the municipal corporation, Isabel García and Aránzazu Pérez and members of the associations of merchants and Hostecar have attended.

The president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz, highlighted during the presentation of the program that entrepreneurship “is an important engine of economic growth and job creation: it creates new companies and jobs, opens up new markets and favors new skills and abilities.

In addition, he said that it makes "the economy more competitive and innovative, improving productivity and creating wealth."

Entrepreneurial Growth Generation Entrepreneurship is an innovative program at national and European level to improve the efficiency and profitability of local businesses.

It is based on four competitiveness itineraries: New Technologies;

New Forms of Business Organization;

Innovation Strategy and Cost Control and Profitability.

Through these itineraries, according to the ADLE manager, Fulgencio Cerón, it is intended “a deep and integral intervention in the participating companies, through the conduct of individualized consultancies and tutorialsâ€.

The team that will be in charge of the consultancies is coordinated by the ADLE Local Development technicians, Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez and Rosa Sala, with the collaboration of Juan Francisco Abad, Marisol García, José Manuel Antón, Ángeles Morales, Javier López and Rubén Méndez .

The Manager of Business Strategy, Juan Francisco Abad, has explained that entrepreneurs, merchants and hoteliers must be “creative, innovative, competitive and differential as if they were the Asturian taxi driver to improve their business and enter an increasingly strong market for the arrival of the Uber, used the social network of Twitter to reach more customers â€.

The consultancies in the area of Cost Control and Profitability will be carried out by Marisol García and José Manuel Antón, vice president and president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Cartagena and Region.

The president of the AJE has indicated that one of the problems that professionals usually have is “financial-economic knowledgeâ€, an impediment that they will know how to solve with their help.

The New Forms of Business Organization area will be controlled by Ángeles Morales and Javier López.

Morales has indicated that with the individualized tutorials, “the interrelation between the different processes and the work team of each company†will be known, that is, what human resources should be used, what are the work processes or what are the strengths and weaknesses of the company itself.

According to López, the main objective of these consultancies is "to discover the reality in which companies live".

The fourth area of New Technologies will be directed by Rubén Méndez who stressed that companies must reinvent themselves and innovate with the use of new technologies to offer a better product thanks to “digital transformationâ€.

The program will run from September 30 to December 12, when companies will receive a global competitiveness plan with recommendations and improvements in these four areas.

The registration period ends on September 20.

Interested companies can register at https://generacionemprendedora.es.

Participating companies will receive on-site visits from September 30 to November 13 from experts in business management and development.

Each company will receive 24 hours of consulting, 6 hours for each specialty.

Finally, Irene Ruiz has remarked that with this program Cartagena intends to "boost and boost the local economy and take the lead in business reference models that can motivate people to undertake and invest in companies in the municipality."
