The Spanish Song will be heard at the XXVI National Festival of Molino Derribao (14/08/2019)

The National Festival of Spanish Song of Molino Derribao reaches its XXVI edition this year as an already consolidated cultural event, which will have the participation of 9 high-level artists coming mostly from the south of the country, Córdoba, Malaga, Granada, Badajoz or Gibraltar.

These figures, 'all known in the world of copla and the Spanish song', will be measured on Friday, August 16 in the qualifying phase, passing five to the final held on Saturday 17, and all this' in a wonderful Outdoor stage, in the Cartagena town of Molino Derribao ', as highlighted by the Councilor for the Area of ​​Culture, David Martínez, during the presentation of the festival, in which he has been accompanied by the mayor delegate of Culture, Carlos Piñana , the president of the Association of Neighbors of Molino Derribao, Pedro Emilio Conesa, and the head of the festival, Alfonso Conesa 'El Levantino'.

The latter will be in charge of reading the proclamation with which the Festival will begin, Friday at 10 pm, starting immediately after the semifinals, which will feature the live performance of Irene Martinez, winner of the last edition.

Already on Saturday 17, the final of the event will take place, also after 10 pm, in which Ana Mochón, accompanied by Daniel Valseca on guitar, will be responsible for entertaining part of the evening, culminating this with a Fireworks castle with which you can end the local festivities.

The five finalists will compete for the first prize, Molino de Plata and 2,300 euros, and there will also be other prizes of 1,800, 500 and 300 euros.

The Spanish National Song Festival is organized by the Derribao Mill Neighbors Association, with the collaboration of the Cartagena City Council.
