The festive atmosphere returns to El Bohío to celebrate San Cristóbal (02/07/2019)

The town council of El Bohío celebrates its patron saint festivities in honor of San Cristóbal from July 6 to 14.

Parades, family raffles, dances, live music, games and contests will give color these days in this area of ​​the municipality.

These activities have the collaboration of the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.

On Saturday, July 6, the festivities begin at 8:30 p.m. with a parade in charge of the comparsa San Cristóbal.

At 21:45 hours will open the fairground that will host the activities of these parties of El Bohío.

To celebrate the opening of this space, the Jema group will offer a live musical performance.

After the concert, it will proceed to the coronation of the Queen of the Festival of El Bohío 2019. After the act, a family raffle will be held.

On Sunday, July 7, the first triduum for the deceased will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. in the church.

At 22 hours the performance of the Albaica group will take place, starring in a flamenco night that will culminate with a great family raffle.

On Monday, July 8, activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with children's games.

At 7:00 pm, the second triduum will be held for the sick.

At 10 pm, Ana Mar and Laura will offer a varied repertoire of Spanish pop songs.

This will not be the only musical appointment of the night.

At 11 pm, a karaoke contest will begin.

Those interested in participating can sign up at the bar of the fairground that same night.

The organization of the parties has put a maximum limit of 12 contestants.

In parallel, a family raffle will be held.

On Tuesday, July 9 at 7:00 pm there will be a third triduum for the families of El Bohío.

At 7:30 pm there will be a costume contest for children.

At 10 pm, a mobile disk will take the audience to the music of the 90s. At 22:15 a crumb contest will begin.

Participants can not bring homemade crumbs, they have to be made at the fairground.

At 23 hours it will be the turn of lightning games for the little ones, while the rest will be able to participate in the raffle of gifts.

Wednesday July 10 is San Cristóbal Day.

Therefore, the Patron Festivities of El Bohío will celebrate its most special date here.

The day will begin at 11:30 am with the wreath to the patron.

In the afternoon, starting at 6 pm, the fair's attractions will begin.

From 8:00 pm, the Holy Mass will be celebrated in honor of San Cristóbal.

At 20:30 hours the traditional vehicle blessing will take place.

At 9:00 pm, the procession of San Cristóbal will begin through the streets of the Barriada that bears his name, which will be accompanied by the chords of the band from this neighborhood.

At 22 hours, the Dolce Vita orchestra will offer a live performance.

In addition, there will be a raffle for gifts for all attendees.

On Thursday, July 11, activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with bike games.

At 10 pm, an omelet contest will be held, which can only carry eggs, potatoes and onions.

The prize will be announced at 23 hours.

At 10:30 pm the daily family raffle of gifts will begin.

At 22:45 hours the Fiesta de la Espuma will start.

On Friday, July 12 at night there will be a large variety magazine from 10 pm with a family raffle in the middle.

The chairs for the magazine will be sold this day starting at 6:30 p.m. in the bar of the fairgrounds.

They will cost 3 euros.

Tickets will be sold by numbering and arrival order.

The night of Saturday, July 13, will feature live music from the Royal Music Orchestra from 10 pm.

In parallel, there will be a daily raffle for gifts for the whole family.

On Sunday, July 14, the activities begin at 10 o'clock with the floral diana that will be accompanied by the music of El Bohío.

In the afternoon at 5:00 pm the water festival will take place.

After a refreshing afternoon, attendees at the Patron Saint Festivities of the neighborhood of San Cristobal El Bohío will live a special night.

At 10 pm, the Aguamarina duo will fill the evening with rhythm, which will be accompanied by a family raffle.

To round off the festivities, a fireworks display will put an end to more than a week of activities.
