On Saturday, July 6, Cartagena will host the VI National Music Band Festival.
From 18:30 hours, Plaza San Francisco will receive three groups: the Municipal Music Band Association of Molina de Segura, the Musician-Cultural Association Julian Sanchez Maroto de Manzanares (Ciudad Real) and the Musical Association Sauces de Cartagena as host .
The event has the collaboration of the Department of Culture and Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.
As a novelty this year, the Sauces School Band will act as the opening act, to involve the musicians in this type of event and to let the public know about them.
The culmination of the event will be put by the three participating bands in the contest with the performance of 'Suspiros de España' under the baton of maestro A. Álvarez.
