One more edition Cartagena has become the triathlon capital for a few hours (02/06/2019)

Of the 600 registered athletes, 350 participated in the absolute test or Sprint, which was at nine in the morning, the first of this day of sports.

The winner of this category was the Yeclano Héctor Pujante García, from the Arabi Yecla Triathlon Club, who spent 58 minutes and 39 seconds.

Francisco Fdez-Cortés, of the Bull Project Triathlon, came in 2nd place with a time of 58 minutes and 46 seconds.

Julio Sánchez, of the CT Murcia Unidata, occupied the third place with a time of 58 minutes and 48 seconds.

The women's classification was led by Nerea Berasategui, from Saltoki Diquesí Trikideak, with a time of 1 hour, 10 minutes and 56 seconds.

The second position went to Beatriz Ortín, from Arcade Inforhouse Santiago, who spent 1 hour, 12 minutes and 5 seconds.

The third place went to Andrea Marco, from CT Murcia Unidata, who did 1 hour, 12 minutes and 57 seconds.

Manuel Mora, councilor of sports in function of the City of Cartagena has been in charge of giving the exit to the participants who have completed a route of 750 meters of swimming, 20 kilometers by bicycle and 5 kilometers on foot.

Another 250 triathletes have been distributed in the categories juvenile, children, cadet and in the Women's Triathlon won by Rosario Cavas Pérez, who spent 41 minutes and 40 seconds
