NAVANTIA updates its brand as a symbol of the transformation of the Company with the new Strategic Plan (31/05/2019)

The president of Navantia, Susana de Sarriá, presented today at the close of the International Defense Fair (FEINDEF) the update of the company's brand as a symbol of the digital transformation and rejuvenation that is being promoted with the Strategic Plan.

The new corporate identity transmits better the new reality and strategy of Navantia with a more digital and modern visual identity positioning.

The Strategic Plan of Navantia, approved at the end of last year and that is being intensely deployed by the company, aims to ensure future viability through 3 pillars: The Commercial and Operations Plan aims to provide sufficient workload to all centers, the Operational Efficiency Plan promotes the digital transformation towards the 4.0 shipyard and the rejuvenation and training plan for the workforce and new single agreement, which will allow about 1,600 incorporations;

all this driven by a transversal process of cultural evolution.

"It is an identity that allows us to evolve and adapt to current times with a vision of the future and without losing the original recognition of Navantia, which is so recognizable and recognized throughout our history," said Susana de Sarriá.

The new logo respects the essence, the name and the symbol, which represents the sea, the knowledge and experience of a leading company in the naval defense sector.

In turn, the new brand is an update to approach the world of innovation, technology and digitalization towards which Navantia is transforming.

The most rational part of engineering is highlighted through a more vivid and electric color tone.

There is also an adjustment in the symbol with lines that combine curved and straight lines, thus expressing the more human side and its digital and industrial character, with a new more rational typography and with more character.

We extend the visual identity, going beyond the symbol and logo, with a new chromatic range where green will take center stage to represent our firm orientation towards sustainability and diversification capacity.

The new Navantia, through this new corporate identity and with a powerful visual system, will be more easily recognizable globally in all media and also applicable efficiently in the new communication channels, whether physical or digital.
