Conference on Disability and Employment within the Municipal Plan 'Cartagena para todos' (08/05/2019)

On Thursday, May 9, from 9:30 am, a conference on Disability and Employment is held at the School of Business Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (former CIM).

The City of Cartagena, through the Department of Social Services and the Agency for Local Development and Employment organized the event.

In addition, the entities of people with disabilities participate: Astus, Asido, Famdif, Apices, Autismo Somos Todos and Apanpal - Apanda.

The conference is part of the development of the actions of the Municipal Disability Plan "Cartagena for All".

The purpose of the conference is to publicize the different aspects related to the labor insertion of people with disabilities and to show positive experiences of this insertion.

The contents of the Conference will be presented in five round tables that will focus on: Modalities of Labor Insertion, Experiences of Labor Insertion, Adapted Training, Employment with Support and Life Experiences.

About 30 professionals will present contents and experiences of Employment and Disability.

They are Technicians of the Regional Administration of Murcia and the City of Cartagena, Employers, and workers with disabilities, technicians of Federations of people with disabilities at national level and of Entities of people with disabilities of Cartagena.

The Conference on Disability and Employment is aimed at people with disabilities and their families, employers, employment technicians, social service technicians, students and interested persons.
