The Film Symphony Orchestra returns this weekend to Cartagena where they will sound the soundtracks of ET, Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark, JFK, Memoirs of a Geisha, Star Wars, The Terminal or The Fiddler on the Roof (15/03/2019)

The Film Symphony Orchestra returns to Cartagena, this Saturday, March 16, with the second part of its tour dedicated to the composer of film music John Williams;

with a new program that will fill the El Batel Auditorium with the greatest successes of the composer.

There are tickets, from 35 euros.

In 2018 the orchestra performed several memorable themes such as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Schindler's List or Shark, the FSO up the ante with its Program II, which has included some of the soundtracks like ET, Indiana Jones and the lost ark, JFK, Memoirs of a Geisha, Star Wars, The Terminal or The violinist on the roof.

A journey through the history of cinema accompanied by the comments of the director Constantino Martínez-Orts.

The show is completed this year with a new wardrobe that according to the orchestra "breaks once again the conventions of symphonic music and a surprising play of lights that envelops the scene of magic and color."

Each year, FSO has taken their show one step further.

This year, Jaime Guillem has been in charge of making the revolutionary wardrobe of the orchestra, which leaves behind the traditional suit to surprise the audience with a new and risky look.

The costumes, designed and made by the former contestant of 'Masters of sewing', contain, in the words of the designer, "elements that confer the spirit of strength and style" warrior ", inspired by various sources of different times and cultures , from the warriors of the Xian to movies like the games of the hunger or Matrix, even happening through some cartoons like Dragon Ball ".
