Santa Ana launches the OMITA 21 of the municipality and a new playground in the Plaza Bizantina (27/02/2019)

Santa Ana has since Wednesday, February 27, a new Municipal Information and Administrative Processing Office (OMITA) to serve the more than 2,000 citizens who live in this area.

It will be open on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This one of Santa Ana is the OMITA number 21ª of the municipality.

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Infrastructure, Juan Pedro Torralba, inaugurated the service, accompanied by neighbors and other councilors of the municipal Corporation, such as Manuel Padín, Isabel García and María José Soler.

This OMITA, in addition to Santa Ana, will provide coverage to the residents of Molino Derribado, Los Piñuelas and Los Ventorrillos.

These deputations of Cartagena are located in District 2, which already has complementary municipal administrative offices in Miranda, El Albujón, La Aljorra and Pozo Estrecho.

In addition, the inhabitants of the Polygon of Santa Ana, besides having the OMITA of Santa Ana, can approach the office located in Los Dolores.

Also the inhabitants of the southern zone of District 6, like those who live in Los Médicos and surrounding areas, will have a choice.

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, stressed that "when we entered the Government, there were 15 OMITAS in the whole municipality and with this one in Santa Ana, we already have 21. The truth is that we only see the face of so many neighbors, who They have come this morning to celebrate that they will finally be able to carry out their efforts without having to go to the city center, it is gratifying. "

The first mayor has ensured that with the opening of municipal administrative offices, the administration approaches neighborhoods and towns.

Castejón has announced that the City is studying the possibility of opening more OMITAS, for example in the Polígono Cabezo Beaza.

NEW CHILDREN'S PARK IN THE BYZANTINA PLAZA

Subsequently, the mayor of Cartagena and the councilor of Infrastructures have inaugurated the new playground for children that has been reconditioned in the Byzantine Plaza of Santa Ana.

It has eliminated obsolete games in poor condition as well as vegetation and benches and rubber flooring has been placed with new elements for the enjoyment of children as swings, slide and game tower, as well as the perimeter fencing.

The budget was 39,992.38 euros.
