Cartagena, Thursday, February 21st.

On the occasion of the statement released today by the PP of Cartagena in reference to the lack of information that is offered by the PSOE Government on the urban agreement that signed with the promoter Tomás Olivo, the spokesman for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, recalls that a request of Cs, the Executive has convened for next Monday the Planning Commission to clarify all the doubts raised by vital issues for the general interest of Cartagena as the Rambla Plan, the state of the new PGOU, the transitory rules, specific modifications, or the millionaire sentences paid and paid by the Cartagena for the breach of agreements in the time of the PP.

"Maybe the PP is afraid of public opinion and is deliberately omitting this Town Planning Commission because during its celebration will be aware of all urban agreements signed by the City Council from 1995 to the present pending execution," said Manuel Padin explains that "our Group requested this list before the possibility of new millionaire convictions for more breaches of agreements made at the time in which the PP in the municipality governed."

Cs recalls that to the known convictions by value of 5.2 million euros for the breach of the PP of the urban development agreement in the El Vivero Partial Plan, in La Manga, the possible 3.5 million euros for the alienation of land in La Azohía and the 1.5 million for the irregular expropriations in the Historic District, has been joined by a lawsuit filed by a company in which they claim 2.3 million euros plus interest for the breach of a 2008 swap. "The PP has cost 10 million euros of everyone's money, and dares to give lessons, "says Padín.

Manuel Padín insists that this Urban Planning Commission should serve to clarify the urban management of the bipartisanship of recent years, "we present ourselves to this commission as if it were a trial of the urban policy of PP and PSOE / MC and I hope that it will serve to Let's not commit the same mistakes in the future, both the dangerous and suspicious obscurantism of the PSOE and the reckless decisions of the PP hurt Cartagena. "

Finally, the spokesperson of Cs expects that during the Commission the report that this Municipal Group requested in November 2018 to the municipal legal services to dictate the field of competence in environmental assessment in the context of transitory rules, "today we have learned from the newspaper La Verdad that this environmental assessment can be done in four months and that it would serve to promote the development of Cartagena and, among other things, lift the project to build a ten-storey building, with capacity for 42 homes, on the site annexed to the Adoratrices school.
