The City Council already has the permit to fence the lands of Hondón (21/02/2019)

The City of Cartagena received on February 19 the authorization of ADIF with which the final permit for the installation of the fence of the entire Hondón plot is given.

The municipal technicians have already finished the drafting of the project, so the works can start soon.

To carry out the fencing, the government team is finalizing an agreement with Ercros for which the company will pay the full amount of the installation, as well as the placement of warning signs around the perimeter, and the Consistory will take care of maintenance later.

"This agreement will save the City Council having to face the 105,000 euros that the fence costs and, for now, the predisposition that we have seen in the company is total, so we hope to take it to the Government Board next week," he said. the mayor Ana Belén Castejón.

In this regard, the mayor explained that with the fencing of the land, "the City meets the requirement of the Nuclear Safety Council to ensure the restriction of the uses of the plot and thus avoid frequent presence of people in area".

The perimeter fencing of the Hondón plot will have five double-leaf doors as indicated by the agencies that have reported favorably.

The project includes the installation of a fence of 2 meters high, the placement of about 45 warning signs, of which 12 will be on a post and the rest on the fence itself.

In addition, the perimeter in which it is going to act supposes 3,270 meters of the total of 4,000 and 30 linear meters of wall will be repaired.

The management of the waste generated in the work itself will also be carried out.
