MC Cartagena will demand in the Plenary to clarify the legality of the socialist agreement by the Rambla Plan (19/02/2019)

Less than a week ago, the municipal group MC Cartagena warned about the legal doubts that were hovering over the agreement adopted by the Socialist Mayor's Office and a promoter in relation to the so-called Plan Partial Rambla.

Today, the Cartagena spokesman in the Consistory, José López, has reported on this matter stating that "Law 40/2015 requires to set deadlines for compliance with the agreements before October 2019. Castejón has cheated and has not set , leaving the advance or not of the sector in the hands of the promoter ".

Then he has listed the criteria that aggravate this circumstance, collected in the file initiated during the Mayor's Office of MC to which our training has had access.

"The first report says that you have to set deadlines for obligations to comply with the law, in the second you have to wait for unconstitutionality appeals and the legal advice is put in profile and let the matter go."

In this context, Lopez has reported that "for these reasons, today we have sent all groups a motion proposal for the next plenary session, in which we propose that legal advice, whose obligation is to verify the legality of the agreements of the Board , broaden your report and clarify if you have to set deadlines before October 2019 and, in summary, if the agreement is legal ":

López has finished by reviewing the motivation of the initiative.

"In MC we want the Rambla Plan but also responsibility." Fake closure of an issue of this importance would be an immense deception to Cartagena after 30 years.
