"Cartagena por la Caridad", announces its acknowledgments 2019 (13/02/2019)

The Charitable Association Cartagena por la Caridad, is already immersed in the purposes it will carry out this year to celebrate the XIII edition of the charity initiative known as "Cartagena for charity" and that once again, will help to different associations and collectives that need everyone's attention.

The acknowledgments that this year will be delivered in the course of this thirteenth edition have been made public, with the Gold Medals (highest award being granted), for Huertas Group, Obra Social La Caixa and Juan Carlos López Alfonso.

These medals are delivered to institutions, groups or people who have stood out for a clear social commitment and especially for the support they have been offering to Cartagena for charity.

Thanks to this important involvement that makes all the projects put into operation are duly sponsored, last year, "Cartagena for the Charity" raised and distributed among the beneficiaries of the XII edition, the amount of € 22,286.44.

On the other hand, the "Awards to the Charity", that were born in the year 2016 with the purpose of recognizing the generous and charitable work of people, groups, associations and institutions, will be delivered in this occasion, to the business firm José Díaz. Hostelero, the Rociero Romero and Jara Choir and the Cartagena Badminton Club.

Father Ángel García, Founder and President of Mensajeros de la Paz, who maintains a close relationship with the Charity Association Cartagena por la Caridad, was the first to receive this award that represents a bronze heart made in the center of PROLAM-Astus.

Also, Cartagena por la Caridad is already preparing the projects that will be launched on the occasion of the XIII edition and will have great news.

For this new edition the beneficiaries have already been chosen, which will be the Asiento de Ancianos de los Hermanitas del Pobres, AECC Local Board of Cartagena, Debra-Butterfly Skin Association, City of Cartagena Anonymous Fighters (Sports without barriers) and the little Cartagena 4 years Lucas Pérez López, affected by the Deleción 1P36 Syndrome.
