Primary school students of San Ginés de la Jara del Llano del Beal and El Estrecho School shared a day of athletics with coaches Alfredo Castilla and Tońi López and the athlete Álvaro Alcaraz of the UCAM Cartagena Athletics Club, in an activity organized by the Program ADE of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.
The morning was developed with a meeting in the digital classroom of the educational center where the students had a first approach to athletics through videos and other complementary information.
To finish the theory part, a video of 'Playing athletics' was projected, which is an introduction format adapted for children.
The students asked questions, being interested in subjects and aspects related to the sport of athletics.
The second part took place on the sports court, where the students showed their physical conditions and qualities in different tests adapted to speed, jumps and throws.
All the students had the opportunity to participate and play sports.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of Cartagena and has the collaboration of the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sport of the Region.
