The Hache Prize meetings with Catalina González Vilar continue (04/02/2019)

The cycle of encounters with authors who are candidates for the Mandarache Hache 2019 Awards continues this time with the author of Las lágrimas de Naraguyá (SM, 2017) Catalina González Vilar, who will present her novel to a thousand teenagers who are part of the Hache Award jury and that they will participate in the meetings scheduled on February 6 and 7 in Cartagena.

González Vilar will begin his activities on Wednesday, February 6, at 10 am, with a press conference in the board room of the UPCT (Former Marina Hospital), prior to the traditional meeting with 600 high school students at 10:30 a.m. the Paraninfo, both acts that will be attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez.

It will continue in the afternoon with the meeting with boys and girls of the Intercultural Centers of the minor at 17: 30h in the Graduate Schools (c / Gisbert) to finish at 7pm at the ARQUA Library with the members of the literary creation workshop. Mandarache

The next day, Thursday 7, will visit the College La Vaguada at 9 o'clock and end its program of activities with the meeting with 200 students at 11am in the Caja Mediterráneo Foundation (c / Mayor).

The author will be presented at these meetings by M.ª Antonia García Caro, member of the Promoting Group of the Mandarache Prize and professor of the IES Isaac Peral.

Catalina González Vilar is the second of the Hache Award finalists to visit Cartagena, after the meetings with Gisela Pou in December and before the March visit of Fernando Lalana.
