A light and sound show in 3D transforms the facade of the Consistorial Palace to the astonishment of hundreds of citizens (05/01/2019)

The main facade of the Palacio Consistorial de Cartagena made the last night a large screen in which a spectacular video mapping with 3D effects was projected, which transformed the texture of the emblematic building and its architectural elements, through the effects of lights and sounds , among which there will be references to Christmas.

Activity.

included for the first time in the Christmas Programming of the Department of Celebrations, was paid by Repsol, and was held in three passes of ten minutes each, approximately, between eight and nine o'clock at night, which were followed by hundreds of citizens who filled the Plaza del Ayuntamiento ..

"Undoubtedly, this video mapping has been one of the great strengths of this year's Christmas program, which both children and adults have enjoyed," said Councilman Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba.

"We want everyone to enjoy Christmas in Cartagena, and we believe that this great innovation has achieved it."

Video mapping is a visual technique that consists of projecting images onto real surfaces, such as on the outside of buildings.

In Cartagena, the emblematic facade of the Town Hall has been chosen for this projection.

The images are projected in such a way that they will generate movement or 3D effects, with which it is possible to transmit a really incredible visual experience, with an artistic effect out of the ordinary.

The Christmas program of the City of Cartagena this year has a varied offer ranging from concerts, parades, workshops, crafts to storytelling.
