CTSSP-PODEMOS has announced that it accepts the Government's offer to chair the Research Commission of the La Mar de Músicas Festival, following the resignation of the previous president and its consequent paralysis.
The purple formation has informed that it is waiting for the communication of official way by the Government from the first minute to continue with the task that was developing in this Commission, investigating the accounts and invoices of the 2012-2016 editions of the Festival, for possible irregularities and damage to public coffers.
The municipal group of Podemos has regretted the time lost so far, however it will make maximum efforts to provide greater transparency to the expenses of previous editions of one of the emblematic festivals of the Region, a task of control and control that It should not be exclusive of any particular party, and that is why it will ask for collaboration and work to the rest of the political formations of the City Council.
Finally, CTSSP-PODEMOS considers that accepting the Presidency of this Commission is giving effect to its electoral program and to the commitment acquired with the Cartagena citizenship: the need to open all the drawers of the City Council and to purge the possible responsibilities in matters of corruption after 20 years of absolute majority of the PP.
Thus, we can Cartagena and CTSSP continue on the path of the fight against corruption and transparency of public accounts, a path that the purple training has been going through with the Research Commission of the El Batel Auditorium and the numerous irregularities put manifest in the Research Commission of Casco Antiguo SA.
