The second phase of the COLOC Project, carried out by the Local Development and Employment Agency of the City of Cartagena, within the framework of the Youth Employment Operative Program, came to an end this Wednesday, December 19.
This project has developed in this phase three certificates of professionalism: Auxiliary Operations of Continuous Coatings and Urbanization;
Operations of Recording and Processing of Data and Documentation;
and Dynamization of Leisure and Free Time for children and youth.
The COLOC has covered 45 students under 30 years of age and beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System.
This phase lasted for 6 months, during which the students, in addition to receiving their own certificates of professionalism, have practiced in several companies in the economic sector: nursery schools, day care centers, youth camps, mechanical workshops, travel, online commerce, construction companies, paints and building maintenance companies.
During all these months, the students have been the object of an integral formation giving subjects referring to environmental awareness, literacy, ethics and values, new technologies, gender equality, couching, first aid and languages.
The fundamental characteristic of this project is that at all times the training has been combined with individual and group tutorials in order to accompany these young people throughout the process and guide them so that at the end of this phase they are able to integrate into the world of work. with full competitiveness
The closure took place in the Occupational Training Center of Canteras and was attended by the president of the ADLE, Carmen Martín del Amor and the manager, Fulgencio Luis Cerón Mora.
