After the celebration of the Municipal Commission of Drug Addiction held today in the City of Cartagena, the municipal group CTSSP has transferred to the government team the urgent need to work on the prevention of drug and alcohol consumption in the districts and county councils.

That is why from Podemos they will demand the presence in the streets of educators and monitors working in the neighborhoods where the problem is most acute, in addition to that there must be close collaboration between the programs of the different councils, so that in this way, we work in a transversal manner, and with all the groups affected and involved in this serious problem.

Also from Podemos have asked the Department of Social Services within the PMAD, include prevention and intervention in gambling, which has been increased among young people in recent times, by the implementation of multiple gambling halls in our municipality , as they denounced in a motion approved by the municipal plenary unanimously of all the political groups.

Likewise, they consider essential the inclusion of the problem of HIV, which has been forgotten, and yet it is of vital importance to be able to inform, prevent, and defend the people affected by this disease in Cartagena.
