The City Council will invest more than 40,854 euros to renovate the street lamps of Los Dolores, El Bohío and Hispanoamérica (03/12/2018)

The Department of Infrastructure, directed by the mayor Juan Pedro Torralba, has awarded the project to renovate a total of 171 luminaries in the neighborhoods of Los Dolores, El Bohío and Hispanoamérica.

"The total budget allocated to this intervention reaches 54,230.10, and has been awarded for 40,854.86 euros.

In addition, within the project we will also change arms of some facades that are in poor condition in the area of ​​Los Dolores, "said Torralba.

Specifically, the project includes the modernization of 80 street lamps in Los Dolores, 54 in El Bohío and a total of 37 in the Hispanic American neighborhood, with LED lights that are intended to change aesthetics and, above all, improve the energy efficiency of these three neighborhoods of Cartagena.

In Los Dolores the new lights will be placed in the streets José García Sánchez, Dominican Republic, Subida al Plan, San Damián, Santa Coloma, Mataró and Balibrea.

In El Bohio, the centers will be replaced, located in the streets José Padilla, Pascual Marquina, Pablo Luna, Jacinto Guerrero, Vicente Quirós, Joaquin Valverde, Pablo Saraste, Jesus Guridi, Enrique Granados and Manuel Penella.

As for the Hispanic America neighborhood, 37 led lights will be placed, and the change affects Montblanch, Montseny, Montagut, Priorato, Ampurias and Cabo Creus streets.
