MC continues to monitor the socialist defaults in La Aljorra, symbolized in the school and the storm pond (21/11/2018)

Yesterday, during the session of the ordinary plenary session of the Neighborhood Council of La Aljorra, the MC Cartagena member, José Miguel Méndez, continued exercising his control and control work to ask about the numerous socialist breaches with the deputation.

Méndez was supported by the Cartagena spokesman in the Consistory, José López

He began his intervention by requesting the provision of information that could be provided on the status of the school project of La Aljorra, once the City Council announced that it was going to sign the agreement with an electric company to bury the electric line that crosses the site.

At this point, spoke the municipal spokesman of the training Cartagena, Jose Lopez, to inform the neighbors of the numerous breaches of the Ministry of Education to delay the start of work, becoming, currently, the administration that is preventing the progress of the project, beyond the lack of resolutive capacity, inefficiency and complacency exhibited by Ana Belén Castejón.

López recalled that, at the end of 2017, María José Soler sent a "donkey guide" to the Ministry of the procedures to be followed, pending the entire process at the expense of the regional government present the blueprint of the center, which has not done a year later, the same year that Castejón has not done anything, except look the other way.

Needs on the roads of the deputation

Subsequently, José Miguel Méndez reiterated the need to improve the manifest deficiencies in the area of infrastructure in that deputation.

The representative of MC listed the problems that usually face the neighbors in times of rain, despite not being especially abundant, as happened at dawn on Sunday and during the day on Monday.

The Aljorra was isolated with bordering populations, such as El Albujón, through the E-33 road.

Also with Fuente Álamo and the Sabic industrial complex, due to the road cuts in the RM-F 602 and RM-F 605. Identical complications were encountered by those who tried to cross the RM 602 road.

In this sense, MC outlined the importance of urging urgency and face, without further delay, the second phase of the storm pond for the collection and regulation of rainfall.

Another project that the Socialists have left in the drawer, without knowing where they have diverted the 120,000 euros contemplated in a Cartagena amendment.

Another example of the paralysis of irrevocable projects with revanchist spirit.

And is that for the PSOE government the security of the residents of La Aljorra is not a priority.

Throughout his speech, José Miguel Méndez urged the rest of the members of the Neighborhood Board to transfer to the competent administrations in the referred ways to correct the aforementioned needs.

CAI and security

José Miguel Méndez continued to request information about the closure of the Child Care Center (CAI), as well as the possible solutions that are being implemented for its reopening in terms of permanence and quality for the next course.

Finally, MC wanted to know if any management has been done with SABIC to take the theoretical and practical evacuation training before an emergency incident in the industrial complex, as it was approved through a motion in the neighborhood.

Diversion of funds from the Neighborhood Board

During the debate, the neighbors expressed their concern because Torralba is appropriating the money from the Neighborhood Boards and, after leaving them without money for maintenance, they hide the remainder of the contracting of the investment works.

With this, the PSOE manages to dedicate the money of the Boards to their partisan interests, eliminates local participation in decisions and increases the turbidity of their management.
