Neighbors and social representatives have participated in the sixth Public Advisory Panel organized by SABIC, which had as a monographic theme to inform about the technical stop that is being carried out in the first plant for the production of polycarbonate resins, called LX1.
In this way, the attendees could see first-hand what the technical stop is, in which a review and commissioning of the facilities of the plant is carried out, which this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary.
In fact, the stop, in addition to ensuring the integrity of the facilities and their proper functioning, improves the reliability, safety and energy efficiency of the equipment, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
The Public Advisory Panel, which has been held for more than a year, serves as a bridge between the company and its neighbors, creating a channel for direct dialogue within the company's policy of transparency and social commitment.
