Deslinde fuses poetry and music again with a recital / concert by Andrés García Cerdán (13/11/2018)

On this occasion the artist Andrés García Cerdán, winner of the XVI International Poetry Prize Antonio Oliver Belmás, comes to Deslinde under the rubric of Mark "Oliver" and accompanied by his guitar will make a tour of his poetic work singing some of his compositions.

The act presented by the poet Diego Sánchez Aguilar, will take place at 9:00 p.m., next Wednesday, November 14, at the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, within the festival's events and after the presentation from Angel Paniagua's book.

Andrés García Cerdán (Fuente Álamo, Albacete, 1972), is a professor of grammar at UCLM and doctor of Literature at the University of Murcia.

Among others, he has published the poems 'The names of the enemy' (Editum, 1997), 'The good times' (Ciudad Real, 1999), 'The fourth person singular' (Antonio Oliver Award, ERM, Murcia, 2002), 'Curves' (Celya, Salamanca, 2009);

'Carmina' (Barcarola Award, Nausícaä, 2012), 'La sangre' (City of Almuñécar Award, Valparaíso, 2015), 'Barbarie' (Premio Alegría, Adonáis, 2015) and 'Puntos de no retorno' (Premio San Juan de the Cross, Kingdom of Cordelia, 2017).

He is the author of the essay 'Total reality.

From the poetry of Julio Cortázar '(Editum, 2010) and has compiled the selections of contemporary poetry' El llano en llamas' (Fractal, 2011) and 'El peligro y el sueño' (Celya, 2016), with a foreword by Antonio Gamoneda .

In 2013 he edited 'Grizzly!'

(Parrix & Perdido Records) with the rock band Leñadores.

In 2015 he recorded with The Rimbaud Company Song to Carmina (Club de la Lucha Records) in an electric poetry project.

He has been the founder of the Thader magazines, The Wishes and Green Magic.

Among others, he has won the Barcarola, Antonio Oliver Belmás, Athenaeum of Alicante, Voices of the Chamamé de Oviedo and City of Pamplona prizes.

His work appears in anthologies such as 'Interior Sea', 'Ardentissima', 'Traced with Iron', 'Poetry Classroom' or 'Fanzine Generation'.
