The most genuine flavors of the region come to the Santa Florentina Market through the Mi Tierra project, flavors here (12/11/2018)

The Cartagena Pilar Albaladejo has brought to the Market of Santa Florentina the most unique products of the Region of Murcia through its business My Land, flavors here, which lifted the blind only two weeks ago after several months of work, guided by the Agency of Local Development and Employment.

The entrepreneur, a native of Canteras, returned to Cartagena a few months ago after living for more than 6 years in England, and began to shape a project she had been thinking about for a long time: a small trade in organic products and delicatessen of the Region of Murcia.

"Spain is a country full of incredible gastronomic wealth and I did not know where to start.

That's why I decided to start with our own ", pointed out Pilar Albaladejo, who also indicated that during his stay abroad he remembered a lot the typical flavors of the area.

The location did not take long to arrive, being the Santa Florentina Market the place chosen by the young businesswoman to make her dream come true.

At that time he began his journey through the Region, looking for products;

and knowing people who, like Pilar, are small entrepreneurs who are struggling to make a place in the market with their products, which the entrepreneur has taken to her business in the Santa Florentina Market.

Pilar Albaladejo has said that despite having only two weeks, her project is having a good acceptance, and that customers who come, come back.

In Mi Tierra, flavors from here, you can find Cehegín artisanal honeys, wines that are a discovery, oils, vinegars, gins, craft beers, pickles, salted meats, cheeses, artisan breads and freshly made fresh and salt from San Pedro, among others.

The idiosyncrasy of this small business is to remain faithful to the products of the land, reducing to the maximum the consumption of plastics and putting a grain of sand in the care of the environment.

In addition, Pilar Albaladejo has made clear his intention that the philosophy of his business goes beyond gastronomy, and can reach other events such as craft markets or specialized fairs.

On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, which will take place in a few weeks, the young entrepreneur has indicated that she will create gift boxes so that customers can take their products well presented.

He also stressed that his goal is to encourage giving away "what's ours for our people", as well as shopping in small shops, which have more difficulties to compete with large stores.

The entrepreneur pointed out that when she had the place she approached the ADLE, where they started to work with her project model and they followed her up, offering training courses that helped her in the process of undertaking and where she was able to meet people in their same situation with which to create synergies.

Pilar Albaladejo has encouraged people with "a minimum of initiative, who are lost and who consider that entrepreneurship can be a solution" to address the ADLE, "which is a good place to find support and guide you", has concluded .
