The prevention of bullying and cyberbullying to debate in the'Cafes with Science and Thought' (05/11/2018)

The program Cartagena Piensa, of the Department of Culture, organizes within its cycle of 'Coffee with Science and Thought', the Talk-debate: Shared responsibility in the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying, in which psychologist Eugenia Piñero intervenes.

The talk will take place on Tuesday, November 6, at 8:00 pm in the El Soldadito de Plomo coffee shop.

Cartagena Piensa, of the Department of Culture, organizes this activity in collaboration with the College of Psychologists of Murcia, within its cycle of 'Cafes with Science and Thought', the Talk-debate: Shared responsibility in the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying, in which the psychologist Eugenia Piñero intervenes as a specialist in the field of forensic psychology and mediation, as well as teaching at the University of Murcia since 2009, works closely with the Official College of Psychologists of the Region of Murcia, in activities of training to psychologists, supporting research tasks in forensic psychology and mediation, and as a member since 2011 of the Deontological Commission of said official school.

The activity will be presented by Gabriel Navarro.

In the talk attendees can reflect on this topic so topical.

New technologies facilitate everyday use of applications and uses really useful, such as social networks, however, a misuse of technology leads to talk in recent times more and more of cyberbullying as a result of bullying or bullying.

Talk-debate: Shared responsibility in the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying invites everyone to have something to contribute in the prevention of such a complex phenomenon, which is not just a matter of the school, of the kids, or of the parents, to see what can be done from each particular area to know, understand, and help reduce these situations of violence.

The talk will discuss and reflect on the differences between bullying and cyberbullying, and how to prevent and detect these cases, and what parents and educators can do.

The talk is addressed to parents, teachers and educators who are in contact with children and adolescents.

The event will take place at 20:00 in the El Soldadito de Plomo coffee shop.

The cycle of 'Cafes with Science and Thought' of Cartagena Piensa will end on Wednesday, November 19, at 20:00 in the Lead Soldier, leading this time to debate Prostitution: Regulation or Abolition ?.
