This weekend, Cartagena was the scene on Saturday of a number of activities aimed at young people in the city through the Interasociative Fair, which was held in the vicinity of the Plaza de Heroes de Cavite, with the participation of a total of 37 youth associations and other collectives of the municipality.
The Mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Youth, David Martínez Noguera, accompanied the young participants, who were the true protagonists of this event, promoting the interassociative spirit.
Live graffiti, solidarity photography, belly dancing, Wii astronomy, handicrafts, chess, board games and a wide range of activities took place throughout the day.
Alternative Hip Hop and Dj Set KRYM KRUMBS, were in charge of putting music to the event.
In addition, Saturday afternoon was enlivened by the parade of the Youth Association of Drums 'Quillo', a display of belly dancing and the participation of the choreographic group Titánide.
YOUNG ARTISAN MARKET
The same stage welcomed the young people who showed their work in the Artisan Market, where they put on sale a great variety of handmade objects, such as costume jewelery, clothes, purses, objects of decoration, soaps and natural cosmetics, engravings and paintings , scented candles.
During the weekend, the Youth Council had an information stand of the various programs that are developed there, as well as a specific one of European Mobility and the Eurodesk office, the Implica2 program, committed young people.
Likewise, the Municipal Plan of Action against Drug Addiction and the group of volunteers of Cartagena Libre de Rumores were present, making their initiatives known to the young people of the municipality.
