The local police of Cartagena perfect their techniques in the handling of firearms (24/10/2018)

All the components of the staff of the Local Police of Cartagena are conducting, during this month of October, the course of Training in Maintenance and Use of Firearms 2015. The practices are taught in the shooting gallery of the School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (ESPAC).

The objective of this course is to achieve a correct training in the use of firearms used by regulation: the HK COMPACT gun and Revolver FLAME MARTIAL.

The instruction and improvement of the shooter is a necessary progressive work that results in a better professionalism and greater security for citizens.

The participants will obtain a strict knowledge and application of the security norms, of the weapon that they handle and the ammunition that they use.

They are also instructed in correct and precise manipulations of the weapon and its ammunition, as well as to achieve the greatest effectiveness in the placement of its impacts.

The classes are held in the morning and afternoon and in order to coincide with the police service shifts.

During some days they will continue until 23:30 hours so that the police assigned to the night shift can carry out this Plan.

The School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena is a reference in the completion of this training course in Maintenance and Use of Firearms, not only in the Local Police of Cartagena, but throughout the Autonomous Community of Murcia, having been organizing this Training for other policemen of the Region, through the old School of Local Police of the Autonomous Community.
