José López will file a complaint against the Ministry of Education before the Spanish Agency for Data Protection "for the commission of multiple irregularities in the video surveillance file" (10/10/2018)

This morning, the spokesman of the Municipal Group MC Cartagena, José López, has listed the "serious infractions" in which they would have incurred due to the irregular disclosure, on the day yesterday, of a video by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education. that the media echoed.

The Cartagena leader has started by declaring that "although we were waiting to report the multiple irregularities of the video surveillance file at the end of the judicial procedure, the filtering of the recording obliges us to denounce it immediately."

Thus, MC has valued a "apparently manipulated recording, and on which the Ministry has acknowledged, through a letter to the Court last May, various irregularities, thus confirming that it is not original, that the file does not is registered with the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (AEPD), that the file is not authorized by the BORM nor does it contain a registration number or person authorized to process it, and that there is no security company in charge of the system. "

Complaint against the Ministry of Education

All this justifies the announcement made by Lopez about the next filing of "a complaint against the Ministry of Education before the Spanish Agency for Data Protection for the violation of regulations and the use of the file for a political and personal attack."

He has continued referring to "the lack of registration (by the Ministry of Education) of the file in the Spanish data protection agency (not complying with this obligation.) In this case, the sanction would amount to 300,000 euros. by irregular disclosure that could rise to 600,000 euros. "

Then he regretted "one more of the current regional government, which is dedicated to breaking the law to maintain its propaganda strategy and try to cover their miseries."

For this reason, he has stated that "not only will they not be able to shut me up, but they should be the ones who give explanations".

This relationship of infractions has served as an argument to Lopez to wish that "the Ministry of Transparency, mutated into a propaganda organ, initiate an investigation ex officio, otherwise they will be confirming that they are the ones who have committed illegality.

"All this, without prejudice to what results from the criminal investigation for the attack against my honor that we urged yesterday before the Court of Instruction No. 2 of Cartagena," he concluded.
