This Tuesday, October 2, has celebrated the feast of the Guardian Angels, patrons of the National Police.
The city of Cartagena has carried out a series of events on the occasion of this onomastics.
The councilor of the area of ​​Citizen Security, Francisco Aznar, along with other members of the Municipal Corporation have attended the acts of recognition of the work of the agents of this state security body.
At 10:30 a.m., the Solemn Mass was celebrated in the Parish of Our Lady of Carmen and later, at 11:30 a.m., an act was held in the sculpture of the Custodian Angels, located on Carrer del Carmen, in a location where previously was located the National Police barracks and one of the old entrance gates to the city.
It should be remembered that the sculpture is a pioneer in offering recognition and homage to the work carried out by this security body.
