SEPES has already reached the agreement for the cession of the floor of Los Camachos for the ZAL (01/10/2018)

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, met Monday, October 1, in Madrid with the CEO of Sepes, Alejandro Soler;

the president of the Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena (COEC), Pedro Pablo Hernández;

and the president of the Conservation Entity of the Los Camachos Polygon, Antonio Betancor.

Alejandro Soler has explained that the agreement of cession of land in Los Camachos for the installation of the Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) is completed by Sepes with more favorable conditions for the Carm, given their budgetary difficulties to buy the 3, 5 million square meters.

Specifically, the new document contemplates the immediate sale of the first 270,000 square meters, as well as the right to purchase the rest of the land by the Autonomous Community.

The Community will have to pay only 1% of the total price of the land to guarantee this right to purchase, which is about 300,000 euros.

The agreement will have a duration of four years, extendable for four more years.

This is the limit established by the law for agreements and can not be extended any longer.

In addition, it maintains the price of 10 euros that had been agreed, as highlighted by the director of Sepes.

Alejandro Soler recalled that he undertook to present the agreement in the first half of October and this has been the case.

Likewise, he has shown his absolute willingness to negotiate because his goal is to achieve soil development.

The director of Sepes has informed the mayor and the businessmen that this document has been sent to the City Council and the Autonomous Community to speed up its processing.

The mayor and the businessmen have appreciated the good disposition of Sepes and have shown their satisfaction with the new document that they consider perfectly acceptable by the Carm.

The mayor of Cartagena has indicated after the meeting that from SEPES the deadlines and dates given are being met with the objective of making decisions that unlock the development of the Los Camachos Polygon and the Logistics Action Zone (ZAL).

The first mayor has finally indicated that after the meeting is hopeful facing the table of the ZAL, which has been called for this Tuesday, October 2, where he hopes that you can analyze, move forward and approve that draft agreement, " that can help make decisions. "

For his part, the president of COEC, Pedro Pablo Hernandez, explained that he considers the draft agreement coherent and reasonable to continue moving forward in an agreement between the regional government and SEPES, while highlighting the good predisposition of SEPES and its I hope that the new draft "fits the autonomous community."
