The exhibition'ARA' will exhibit the works of José María Garres in the Byzantine City Hall (10/09/2018)

The artist José María Garres exhibits his works grouped in the exhibition 'ARA', which will remain open from September 13 to November 11.

This project, curated by Julio Sánchez Alegría, refers to the altar where the sacrifices are made, a space of invocation with the beyond, since 'ARA' means Holy Stone.

Similarly, 'ARA' is at this precise moment, which comes from the Aragonese - Catalan- Valencian, a word used in Murcia's roots.

Under this premise, the author works since he exhibited at the MUBAM 2014 until reaching this set of works that, divided into three blocks, are exhibited in different places in the region.

As described by the author himself "ARA is not the past or present, it is the future through itself that day by day it becomes stronger, because the future is its purpose".

To which he adds, "ARA is the Love of the future, it projects us as beings towards becoming, it makes us responsible for Nature.

Oh, we become aware or we will be pasture of our fire, only smoke. "

The inauguration of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m., and will be attended by the mayor of Education, Youth and Culture, David Martínez.

The exhibition will be open to the public until November 11, from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

and Saturdays and Sundays in the morning from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
