Firefighters of the Fire and Rescue Extinction Service of the City of Cartagena, Local Police and Health Services intervened yesterday afternoon, Sunday 9 September, in the accident that occurred at 19:55 at the exit of La Aljorra, address Fuente Alamo.
In the incident, two vehicles were involved and collided head-on, leaving two seriously injured.
Upon arrival, the troops removed one of the wounded from the interior of the vehicle.
To the place they moved a heavy urban pumper and a polisocorro vehicle with eight firemen;
in addition to several ambulances of the Emergency Management that transferred the wounded to the hospital center.
DOUBLE ACCIDENT ON THE SLEEVE ROAD
Also during the night of Sunday September 9, the Firemen of the Service of Fire and Rescue Extinction of the City of Cartagena intervened in two accidents by reach, which occurred on the road of La Manga, at the height of the exit of Los Nietos .
After receiving the warning, the troops moved to the scene where they found a man, about seventy years of age, who had minor injuries.
The victim was treated by the medical services of 061.
While the firemen of the Fire and Rescue Extinction Service were attending the accident, on the other side of the road, in the opposite direction, a vehicle that slowed down to observe the accident was hit from behind.
In the car reached in this second accident were three occupants, including a baby a few months old, all were unharmed.
With the help of the Civil Guard that regulated the traffic on the affected road, the firefighters removed the victims of this accident to be attended by the health personnel.
