The Information Commission of the Treasury and Interior, gathered this afternoon under the presidency of the councilor of the area, Carmen Martín del Amor, has discussed the proposal for approval of the Municipal Council for Children and Adolescents of the City of Cartagena.
This is the regulation that regulates the composition and functioning of this body for the participation of children and adolescents in municipal affairs, when Cartagena is declared a Friend City of Children and Adolescents through UNICEF.
An error detected in its wording, with regard to its constitution process, has been the reason that has led to the withdrawal of the matter by the municipal government, in order to proceed with its correction.
The matter will be discussed at the regular plenary session next Thursday, August 30;
although upon having been ruled by the commission, its urgency must be declared previously.
