MC Cartagena will propose, during the plenary session of the Neighborhood Meeting of Perín, that will be held next Monday, in the Corner of Sumiedo (21:00 hours), different initiatives in the field of security and infrastructures.

The member of MC, Juan Agüera, will request the organization of informative talks on safety prevention in the populations of this Neighborhood Board.

"These talks should be aimed at transmitting a series of tips to the prevention of the main threats detected for the neighborhood collective and their safety such as the mistreatment of elderly people, robberies in the environment of banking entities, scams, thefts, called 'affectionate hug' and other crimes that can suffer neighbors and seniors, "he said.

Aguera recalled that "the different population centers that make up the current Neighborhood Board of Perín have an advanced age and sometimes reside in very isolated homes".

The Neighborhood Board has 18 associations, among them, young people, adults, housewives, neighbors and cultural nature, which have approximately 1,250 residents who suffer from an integral citizen security, both in person and informative.

It should be remembered that, since 2011, the Ministry of the Interior has a 'Plan for the Prevention and Improvement of the Safety of our Elderly', which, given by the Civil Guard, is aimed at the prevention and improvement of safety to different entities that apply as town councils, neighborhood councils or neighborhood associations.

Therefore, next Monday, MC will demand that the Plenary of the Neighborhood Board of Perín urge the City of Cartagena to request the Government Delegation to develop these activities for the associations of Perín during the 2018/19 academic year, as well as that the councils of Social Services and Citizen Participation prepare and program, in their calendar of activities during the year 2018/19, talks on safety prevention to all the groups of this Neighborhood Board in their local neighborhoods.

Electrification in Los Jarales

The member of MC, María Beltrán, will demand that the execution of the Los Jarales electrification project be carried out, in coordination with the local, regional and state administrations.

The area of ​​Los Jarales, 800 meters from Perín, is one of the few areas that do not have electricity in the municipality.

The arrival of electric light to Perín motivated an exodus of the residents of Los Jarales to the main nucleus, leaving the houses uninhabited, but maintained by their current owners.

Beltrán stressed that "the Los Jarales Owners Association has been, for ten years, managing and fighting against the difficulties that are in their way through the different administrations regarding the electrification of this area, seeking a joint and coordinated action of collaboration and participation of all the administrations involved and also the neighborhood. "

In this line, said that "it is a receipt that, in the XXI century, these homes have this elementary service of electrification and that both local and regional administration act in the area of ​​Los Jarales, to provide a solution to the laying of line, being a protected area ".

In addition, it is urged to "look for co-financing lines in rural electrification and protected areas, published in the BOE No. 299 of December 14, 2007, which sets out objectives and measures for the achievement of a sustainable development of these nuclei, with actions of the Administration of the State and agreed with the rest of administrations ".

The representative of the cartagenerista training has explained that "the solution lies in carrying the execution of a derivation area of ​​medium voltage power line from the site of Los Barrenas, in addition to the installation of a transformer and three lines low voltage areas of about 450 meters each one of them ".

Likewise, it is proposed that "the Los Jarales electrification project be presented and its feasibility reported in the local action group Campoder, in order to benefit from the Leader aid measures, considering the improvement of basic services and infrastructures in nuclei of small population for the social dynamization and to avoid their depopulation ".

In another order of things, the MC member, María Beltrán, explained that "in the ditches of the territory of Perín and the spaces parallel to the numerous rural roads, there are remains of rubble and materials from small masonry repairs", detailing that "this fact is an attempt against the environment and against the health of people."
