Rubén Blades' salsa rhythms will open La Mar de Músicas (19/07/2018)

The great referent of Latin rhythms, Rubén Blades, will be in charge this Friday, July 20, to inaugurate the 24th edition of La Mar de Músicas.

The author of 'Pedro Navaja', comes to La Mar de Músicas with Roberto Delgado Salsa Big Band, with which he is touring around the world after having been awarded with the Grammy for Best Latin Tropical Album and two Latin Grammy, as Best Salsa Album and Best Album of the Year for its Big Band Salsa.

In addition, the opening day will bring together the Brazilians Liniker e os Caramelows, the multicultural band Magda and the traditional music of the Venezuelan Betsayda Machado.

Day for which the last hundred tickets are sold and which will be attended by the Minister of Culture, José Guirao.

Rubén Blades has been a reference figure of Latin rhythms for a few decades, a name closely linked musically to salsa.

Both as a composer and as an interpreter, the Central American artist (Ciudad de Panamá, 1948) has managed to maintain himself in the genre of the genre.
