Education puts on stage the children of the first turn of the'Colonias Musicales' and'Come to sing and dance' (13/07/2018)

The first has had 38 children, between children 3 and 16 years;

and the second activity with 10 boys, between 7 and 17 years old |

The 'Musical Colonies' and 'Come sing and dance', which took place between the 1st and the 15th of July, celebrated their end of the year with a gala in which all the knowledge acquired was shown on stage.

The two activities have been framed within the programming of summer activities of the Department of Education of Cartagena.

In the first of them, 38 children have enrolled, between 3 and 16 years old;

and in the second 10 boys, between 7 and 17 years old.

At the closing ceremony of the first fortnight, held this Friday, July 7, in the assembly hall of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, the councilor of the area of ​​Education, David Martínez, was present.

On the stage tables they have demonstrated the artistic knowledge acquired during these activities: María Jurado with the song Issues Chandelier;

Amanda Jurado, with the song 'I know you'll have to cry';

Kiara González, playing 'Titanium';

Miriam Moren, with 'Como mirarte';

Carmen Muñoz, cantanto 'Havana';

the Group of Jeronimo Solano, with 'Your song City of stars color hope';

Another group of Jeronimo Solano has danced 'Tu cintura, Don't let me down' and the group of the youngest has danced 'La marcha loca'.

"We closed the first fortnight of these activities in which this year we have expanded places, and as a novelty we have also made a school of talents, because we believe that there is a lot of artistic talent among the children of Cartagena", explained Martínez.

This activity, according to the mayor of Education, has facilitated all that child of Cartagena interested this summer in doing an artistic activity that could do it.

In these activities of Education they count on the collaboration of the school of the musical group Misercua.

Martinez has also stressed the importance of artistic education, especially music, for the great benefits it has for children.

He also stressed that working with music not only obtain their own benefits but that they can improve other knowledge such as language, English, or mathematics.

Musical activities in summer will begin their second shift on July 16 and end on July 31.

A third shift is made up of children who have chosen to participate in them throughout the month.
