On Thursday, July 12 will be the delivery of the Gold Medal of the Very Noble, Very Loyal and Always heroic City of Cartagena to Antonio Bermejo Hurtado, worker priest of Vista Alegre.
It is one of the highest distinctions awarded annually by the municipality for the services rendered, in this case for its fighting and vindication in defense of the neighbors and the most needy throughout its life, from the parish of the neighborhood of Vista Alegre.
The act will be chaired by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, along with the honoree and the spokespersons of the municipal groups and will begin at 12:30 pm, in the plenary hall of the Palace Hall
Admission will be free until full capacity is reached.
For this, a closed television circuit has been planned so that people who do not fit in the plenary hall can follow the ceremony from an adjoining room.
It will also be broadcast live on the Youtube channel of the City Council, with a link through the municipal website.
