Ciudadanos celebrates that the literary route of Carmen Conde already appears on the Tourism website of Cartagena (10/07/2018)

The City of Cartagena has confirmed on Tuesday that Carmen Conde's literary route already appears on the Cartagena Tourism website, as requested by Ciudadanos in a motion that was approved unanimously in the plenary session held on June 6.

"We are pleased that the local executive began to comply with the agreement in the plenary sessions, but updating the Tourism website was the simplest, and now we hope that they continue and comply with the rest of the points of the motion", says the councilor. of Citizens who presented this initiative in the Plenary, Ana Rama.

"The modification of the Tourism website is important for the promotion and enhancement of the literary route of Carmen Conde, and its fulfillment we celebrate, but the celebration is restrained because there are still more things to do to value this heritage that the city of Cartagena has and facilitate its access to all citizens, "recalls Ana Rama.

In the initiative, the orange training also urged the local government to restore the milestones or legends of the literary route arranged in the urban fabric of the old town, as well as to reedit the information brochure of this route that begins in the Park of Artillery to be delivered to the different tourist offices.

The motion also asked the local executive to analyze the possible formulas to regulate the opening hours of the Carmen Conde-Antonio Oliver Museum, and to evaluate the possibility of collaborating in the reissue of the author's biography, the work of José Luis Ferris.

"The Government of the PSOE must continue to comply with the agreement in the Plenary Session of the City Council on this and many other initiatives to demonstrate to the public the usefulness and importance of municipal policy," says Ana Rama.
