Yesterday, the member of MC Cartagena in the Neighborhood Board of La Puebla La Aparecida, Santiago Leon was expelled from the local social of the town by the president of this Neighborhood Board, Juan Manuel Ayuso (PP).

The incident occurred while Leon was trying to attend a visit by the Minister of Transparency, Noelia Arroyo, who came to the town to offer an electoral event covered by a neighborhood convocation.

MC, through its spokesman in the Consistory, José López, has put the accent on the seriousness of a matter that should clarify PP and PSOE.

"The first ones, for expelling a neighbor from a public space, without the slightest consideration, the second, for looking the other way and allowing a public installation to be used for the development of an electoral meeting, behind closed doors and with the chosen public ", has specified.

He then added that "both are responsible for Noelia Arroyo's 2019 election campaign being paid for by all Cartagena people, ways that seem to be shared by the councilor who, in the style of the Socialist Government in the City Council, hides behind a smile, intransigent attitudes full of authoritarianism. "

Lopez remarked that "events like yesterday encourage us to think that a new stage is approaching in the local PP, new faces, same dictatorial forms, coming to evict public buildings so as not to leave uncomfortable witnesses of a meeting pronounced by the still councilor" .

Particularly noteworthy is that Santiago León was the only neighbor expelled from the premises, not so his companions who would not assimilate to MC, not allowing him to exercise the fundamental right of participation.

For all this, he announced that MC Cartagena will take several initiatives to the next municipal plenary session to purge responsibilities after the flagrant attack on fundamental rights.

Demanding, on the one hand, the immediate resignation of the president of the Neighborhood Board of La Puebla La Aparecida, in addition to requiring responses to the local PSOE government to reason the reasons that have led him to consent and, therefore, become co-responsible of this shameful behavior.
