Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena, assigned to the Unit of Social Networks and New Technologies, has given a talk to the team leaders of beaches of Civil Protection on Safety in maritime zones.

During the meeting, which took place in the facilities of the School of Public Safety (ESPAC), issues related to the Municipal Ordinance of Beaches and protocols for action in case of emergency have been addressed.

We must remember that the City Council sets up 26 surveillance posts during the summer months along the beaches that are part of the Cartagena coast, with an average of 64 lifeguards operating on them every day.
