CORRECT USE OF THE BEACHES

From the Cartagena City Council the correct use of the beaches of the coast and the rational use of them through an ordinance is reported.

Among other norms, the ordinance reminds the prohibition, in bathing areas and waters and during the bathing season, of carrying out activities, games or exercises that may annoy other users such as: playing with paddles or with a ball .

These games can only be made if the beaches are large enough so as not to disturb the rest of the bathers.

The ordinance does not allow the use on the beach of music devices that, due to their high volume, cause discomfort.

In addition, bathing, fishing and the stay of bathers are also prohibited in the areas destined to the boats qualified both for the grounding and for the transit of the same ones.

On the contrary, in the exclusive bathing areas what the ordinance does not allow is sport and recreational navigation.

On the other hand, fishing will be prevented, both from the shore and underwater, in the bathing areas during the summer season.

Neither will be allowed the access of domestic animals to the waters and areas destined to the bath.

The complete regulation can be consulted in the document attached to this news.
