Firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Extinction Service (SEIS) of the City of Cartagena participated in the early hours of this afternoon in the rescue of two people injured in a traffic accident recorded on the A-30 motorway, Murcia-Cartagena.
About 15:39 hours the Emergency Coordination Center 1-1-2 Murcia, attended several calls for an accident on the A-30 Murcia direction in a roundabout in front of chicken factory "Avilesa Pujante" in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
The vehicle circulated in the roundabout and broke the rail guard, falling to a channel about 10 meters approximately, which did not carry water.
Inside were two occupants an 81-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman, who were initially assisted by a truck driver until the arrival of the Civil Guard, seven firemen and two vehicles from the SEIS of Cartagena and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) ) of the Emergency Service and Sanitary Emergencies of 061.
The health workers treated the two wounded and transferred them to the Hospital de Santa Lucia.
