This edition of Cartagena Folk has awarded its special prize to Radio 3 journalist Jose Miguel López.

As expected, the award would be delivered next Thursday, June 7, but due to the health problems suffered by the award-winning delivery is postponed without a date for the time being.

For this same reason, the 10,000th Discópolis program, which López conducts, and which was also scheduled for Thursday, June 7, could not be held in Cartagena either.

The councilman of Culture, David Martínez Noguera, has affirmed that the festival will communicate the next date of delivery of this prize as soon as the health of the journalist allows it, to whom it wishes a speedy recovery.
