GALPEMUR advises non-profit entities to present non-productive projects (04/06/2018)

The Local Action Group for Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Region of Murcia, GALPEMUR, provides a day of training to non-profit entities to help the presentation of applications for the call for non-productive projects, for which the European Funds has 153,323 euros.

On the occasion of the closing of the call for these projects, which are under the Local Participative Development Strategy (EDLP), GALPEMUR has organized a training day to help the presentation of applications that end next Friday, June 8.

The Councilor for Fisheries of the City Council of Cartagena, Obdulia Gómez, opened this Monday, June 4, the days that have taken place in the Training Center of the consistory.

The City Council, as a member of GALPEMUR, has provided all the facilities for this informative action to have taken place.

"The days are for all those who have an initiative in mind, for which they intend to apply for help, have no problems with the management of the CREA program, which is with it to be managed."

The manager of GALPEMUR, Inmaculada Torres, explained how to manage the program and present the projects fulfilling the required requirements.

This year, 153,323 Euros, from European Funds, are available for these projects.

The non-profit organizations (foundations, institutions, charities and sports and families) attended the conference to review the necessary documents and, in short, answer all the doubts that may have arisen during the process of preparing the applications to present.

The bases define as non-productive investment those activities that do not involve the beginning or development of an economic activity or are not affected to one of them.

Having this character projects of public interest that, even constituting an economic activity or being affected to any of them, do not affect the competition regime in the territory in question.

The CREA program was an initiative of the Local Action Group of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Region of Murcia with "so much success" that according to Gomez "the rest of the local action groups of the Region of Murcia have also incorporated this program to present calls" .
