Mucha Más Música returned one more year consolidating itself as the most important musical event within Mucho Más Mayo.
This festival, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, with young and risky essence, which puts the focus on alternative music styles, was a success by bringing together nearly a thousand people at the foot of the Wall of Carlos III .
The night passed with a great atmosphere in which children and adults enjoyed the comfort provided by the pleasant natural lawn, with more than four hours of live music.
In addition, it positively influenced the environment, the possibility of having dinner and drinking something in the premises thanks to a remarkably well-attended restaurant, which took care of the absence of waste like plastics under an edition of the festival concerned about the Environment.
The concerts began with the opening of the Cartagena singer-songwriter Carlos Madrid, who came to present his new album "Virtually Nothing".
His songs with lyrics loaded with mysticism and religiosity, were accompanied by a band formed by drums, bass, guitars and keyboards.
The Valencians Santero and the Boys came with the headliner vitola, as one of the revelation groups of the year.
The artists immediately connected with the audience through the easily coreable songs of their debut album "Ventura".
They did it in addition to the hand of a style that they call "rested rock" and that is based on a concept of Anglo-Saxon rock with acoustic folk tints.
The evening concluded with Carrie Palmer, alter ego of the Murcian DJ Chusa Sánchez.
Palmer brought a deeply eclectic session, which throughout the evening was revealing his great mastery of music in different styles such as rock, funk, disco, rap, latin, techno, dub, house and flamenco, among others.
