The Algar will be the stage on Saturday June 2 of the II Trade Fair, which will be located around the Plaza del Teatro Apolo at 11 am and will have the presence of around 32 stands representative of the commerce and hospitality of El Algar.
The presentation of this event took place today, May 31, in the hands of the Councilor of the Economic Strategy and Treasury area, Carmen Martín del Amor;
and Ana Olmos Martínez, who has come on behalf of the Algar Merchants Association.
The councilor has reported that in this second edition the number of participants has increased compared to the previous year, which was around 29;
and added that there will be activities aimed at both adults and children, "so it is raised as a family day," he said.
He also took advantage of his speech to congratulate the association, since it has been constituted in this year 2018 and already has more than 60 associates, at the same time that he has welcomed the Department of Commerce.
For his part, Olmos explained that the goal of the association is for the neighbors to live a holiday, for which entertainment and professional activities have been programmed.
As for leisure activities there will be children's shows, children's workshops, dream catcher, face painting, balloon twisting, magician, racing cars, raffles, gastronomic tastings of typical products, a free slush for all attendees, dance and charangas exhibitions.
Meanwhile, as for the professional, there will be training seminars, tasting of typical products and promotion of the association.
In these activities have collaborated both the City of Cartagena, as the Association of Neighbors and the Festival Commission.
