We can request that Zaplana be expelled from the Social Council of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (22/05/2018)

Ă“scar Urralburu, parliamentary spokesman and secretary general of Podemos Región de Murcia, has indicated that the public excargo of the Popular Party should be immediately removed from this post since "We can not allow people like Zaplana to dirty the image of the Public University. The PP was the one who put it there to try to help a politically cornered by its corrupt practices, which gives us the measure of the consideration that this party has towards what the UCPT represents ".

Urralburu recalled that it was the government of the "plurimputado" Pedro Antonio Sánchez who appointed Zaplana as representative of the Social Council of the Polytechnic.

Its objective was, according to the government's own words, "to disseminate everything within the Region that is done in the UPCT, that is to say, the PP chooses someone who is now detained for money laundering to give 'brio' to the UPCT, regrettable and shameful, made in Popular Party ".

In addition, Ă“scar Urralburu stressed that the Popular Party "in its role as Temporary Employment Company has no shame in placing its former senior officials related to corruption in posts of public relevance and affecting the prestige of universities and cities, as In this case, we are going to Cartagena, which is why we urgently ask that he be expelled from his post.We demand that the PP stop using public institutions to reward its cronies and former leaders who have had to leave through the back door of governments and mayorships for their mafia practices ".
