The Parque de los Juncos was the scene on Sunday May 13 of the celebration of the Day of the Street, in which Cartagena showed its most supportive face and shared a day with the homeless in which collectives, families and families were involved. citizens of the municipality.
The event was attended by the mayor of the area of ​​Economic Strategy and Finance, Carmen Martín del Amor, who participated in the reading of a manifesto that was read around 12 noon in the Parque de Los Juncos.
This day of coexistence is carried out with the aim of fighting against the social exclusion of people with fewer resources, a meeting space through leisure that has been possible thanks to the collaboration of associations such as Accem, Cáritas, Cruz Roja, La Huertecica, Hospitality Santa Teresa, in coordination with the Councils of Equality and Social Services of the City of Cartagena.
